Welcome home Mate!

posted on Tuesday, 23 January, 2007 at 8:02 am

Oh yes! After long time I finally did it. Yesterday I purchased one of the best programer's editor in the world TextMate.

In the beginning it didn't suit me well, I was much more used to jEdit and his plug-ins. But after that half a year I was using TextMate at home, finding what can snippets do (yes, snippet screencast wasn't enough) was brilliant!

Since TextMate is for Mac users only, to our PC brothers I can recommend Intype, which is currently in first aplha release, PC only and offers the most powerful feartures TextMate has.

Welcome home.

Congratulation! :) TextMate seems to be very cool. Did you try the new release of jEdit’s “SuperAbbrevs”:http://plugins.jedit.org/plugins/?SuperAbbrevs plugin? If not, check this “tutorial”:http://www.ifakedit.com/log/2006/02/19/jedit-tutorial-a-how-to-on-abbreviations-superabbrevs-in-html-ruby-on-rails-and-more/
