I wasn't on for few days so let's consider this as my report what was going on…
I looks I'll probably get another webdesign co-worker and I'm so glad to say this. Finally I'll have some time more to spend to this site, myself and improving my programming experience ;)
I got sick last week, so laying in bed (mostly couch) covered with blankets and watching movies while getting myself cured (hope so) was my daygoal for last 3 days…
I do feel much more better I can tell, even if expectations were not fulfilled, but what one can do about it? I was also spending some time dumping db of this site, instaling new WordPress (2.0.4) to be precise and starting writing some new bunch of code…
With my time I know it will take a while to develop, but im trying to write an OO based template/presentation (call whatever you want) for WordPress. Hopefully it can be developed fastly, because WordPress is providing plenty of functions and good core…
With Smarty as templating language, there will be no mixture of php and html code together where I cannot see what is what… You should see some templates, it's complete mess.
My RoR studies are going well, It surprises me very time I'm doing smething with it. Even if I'll have to digg some custom actions to which I can do on PHP much more quickly (i think so;)), the scaffolding thing really surprised me.
Only with few lines of code (in my case one; yes you hear good ONE!),
I do RoR does listing, editing, adding and deleting actions for
necessary table. w00t. Normally I would spent some long time on PHP doing
this, with RoR its just one line:)
I also found some site to promote myself called Ziki and created profile so if you'll have some time ziki me.
Yeah, I forgot to metion I'll have a vacation soon. To which I'm very looking forward, to fly home (Košice, Slovakia) to meet my friends after long time.
So we'll hear next week and then I'll have a great time vacation :) with friend without internet :)
