I haven't written anything in quite a long time. One reason is I had many things in work and second is I wanted to enjoy life for a bit…

Nowadays I in Slovakia enjoying xmas and my friends, and tommorow I'm heading to Egypt, Hurghada.

WordPress itself is very good blogging system. With small knowlegde you can activate and use plenty of plugins written for it. You doesn't even have to know anything about PHP. But if you want to develop something sofisticated and use provided functions from core it's hell! Lets have a look on how stupid WordPress is written.

After long time, deleting of comment spam started to piss me off. When you monthly receive about 50 comments and 96% are comment spam, it starts to get a little bit annoying to delete it.

The same thing is with email spam… Annoying, annoying and waste of time. I know I cannot avoid spam completely, it will find me everywhere. Due this fact I took necessary steps.

1. removed the contact form, there are plenty of ways how to contact me
2. installed anti-spam WordPress plug-in

Yeah, thats right. As sisushka said day should have 72 hours… It would be optimal for me nowadays.

Some of the new stuff is on the way. Ruby or RoR finally got to Czech Republic and first tutorial in czech language was published on Muj mac (czech only). Sweet so, instead of learning Java I'm starting to get „involved“ with Ruby. Much more attractive.

Emily is home. She arrived friday morning with my mom. Small, nice and all white. If you guessed right, yes Emily is my Mac mini.

You may think it's weird name for computer… According to Michael Heilemann in his post Welcome Valkyrie „obviously all Macs are female“ with which I totally agree.
